SCA:� Finally got to talk to the guy that manages site for Baronial B-day (partially my schedule of OMG overtime, and partially heapos;s been a little difficult to get ahold of).... Got the updated pricing.... Like groceries and everything else, site�has gone up.� He did cut us a break (probably cause weapos;re booking in thier off season), now just have to make the numbers work and e-mail to baronial Seneshal financial commette.� Think Iapos;ve got it covered, but feel bad that site fee is going up a buck or two.� :(� I like to keep costs down as much as possible.� Anyway, heapos;s got us penciled on the calendar, and just needs the reservation check.� Now to line up the rest of my proverbial quackers...�� Ideally Iapos;ll have everything (or at least all my people and the general plan/schedule) in place by the end of the month.� Got to e-mail my head cook that Iapos;ve reviewed the menu and recipes (looks good).��
Book�of the Week:� Playing for Pizza, by John Grisham.��Light,�fluffy read.��Couldnapos;t decide if I liked the main character until almost the end of the book,�a little too much football terminology for me (since Iapos;m not a fan), but otherwise for something light it was good.��Warning: since itapos;s set in�Italy, and�Grisham is very descriptive of the meals,��THIS�BOOK�WILL�MAKE�YOU�HUNGRY
Work:� Keep your fingers crossed that my tests go o.k. Today.� So far I havenapos;t had any abysmall equipment failures/tests go sidewaise... Iapos;ve had a few WTF happend samples, but no whole tests that must be thrown out.� If all goes well, Iapos;ll actually get off work on time again today...WHOOT
Other:� Warm bread pudding with leftover creamcheese icing is a wonderful breakfast... Donapos;t forget to use cinnamon bread for the pudding an put lots of extra cinnamon in it...� YUM� Awsome counterpoint to coffee.
